Barack Obama: Mr. November

Pitchfork reported this a few weeks ago, and I had to mention it. The National are selling the above t-shirts as a fundraiser for Obama, using their song title "Mr. November" to refer to the month Barack will win the election. (Wishful thinking.) If you ask me, it's pretty much the best thing ever, and you should go buy one right now at the National's website.

Geez, Obama's really dominating the indie rock votes, huh? He's got a lot of great artists publicly on his side by now: the Decemberists, the National, Wilco, the list goes on and on. And, just to clarify the apparent rumor that Barack's iPod has no Jeff Tweedy love, the man himself recently said, "That is not true. I love Wilco." As if you needed another reason to vote for him. But really, doesn't that seal the deal?
