I didn't jump on this album when it was first released, but I recently got very into the Blow's Paper Television. It's not that the album is gold, but there are several songs that are. The first song that got me into them was "True Affection," with it's catchy vocals, complete with witty lyrical lines: "I was outta your league, you were twenty thousand underneath the sea." Later I became hooked on the single "Parenthesis," which is equally as catchy. That's what the album is full of -- catchy, well delivered melodies combined with smooth electronic beats. The Blow, at the time of Paper Television's recording, was Khaela Maricich and Jona Bechtolt. Since then, however, Jona has left to pursue his solo act, YACHT. So I'm not sure we'll be seeing any more music from the Blow of this album's quality in the future. Which is too bad, cause these songs are some of the catchiest I've heard lately. The Blow - Parenthesis (from Paper Television)

It's too bad Jona left. These two are awesome together and I don't like Jona's stuff by himself. Oh well.
