First off: midterms are now over, and I am back in Chicago for my spring break. And thus daily updates shall resume. Now back to business. After writing about their stellar score for The Virgin Suicides, I thought it only proper to give mention of some of Air's other work. While I do believe that the music from that film is some of their best, it would be criminal to write off the other albums. My favorite of the rest of their discography is 2004's Talkie Walkie. It is Air at their best -- sprawling electronic soundscapes, with beautiful motifs and melodies, all mixed in with catchy pop. There are intense layers of sound throughout the record, but that doesn't mean you won't walk away with the music stuck in your head.
