Sebastian Krueger, the man behind Inlets, also contributes his talents to My Brightest Diamond. My Brightest Diamond, in turn, have toured with Sufjan Stevens in the past few years. Now, I'm sure he's sick of the comparison, but Inlets sound a lot like good ol' Soof. Which is not really a bad thing. I mean, why does his music evoke Mr. Stevens? The banjo is prominent, the vocals are sung in a light, hushed tone, and the music features varying instrumentation. Regardless, his debut EP will capture you.
