The Books' quirky music was something that took a few tries for me to get into. I would listen to them and say, "Nah". Then, half-a-year later, I'd check them out again, only to achieve the same result. Then, all of a sudden, I heard them one day and was instantly hooked. I guess they're just one of those bands. But now I can't get enough. Their ultra-unique brand of glitchy beats, sound and speech samples, and varying interesting instrumentation has caught me like no other. I will concede that the Books are not for everyone. For some, they may just be too weird. But I have a feeling that if you get into them, you'll really be into them. The Books - All Bad Ends All (from Thought For Food)

Hey. I totoally agree with you. The same happened to me...it seemed so strange and unharmonious at first, and the more i listened the more things fell into place, and the more i appreciated the music. I know very few people who can actually appreciate the books as well, ive tried to have so many people listen to them. Sigh...
Just so you know when I tried to download the files they were downloaded as quicktime movie files that didn't work. Just thought you should know.
Are you sure, Kevin? Try it again, because everything appears to be fine from my end. Hopefully this is one of those problems that solves itself.
