The Best Concerts Of 2007

Thanks in a large part to how fantastic this year's Pitchfork was (and hardly any thanks to this year's Lollapalooza -- psh), and in a large part to the immense amount of shows I go to, I saw quite a few stellar concerts this year. And I should comment that after I left the Deerhoof show in January, I said to myself, "Damn, the first show I've seen this year is probably going to be the best I see all year!" Not to say there weren't other fantastic shows. Because there certainly were. Many of my favorite shows I've ever been in my whole life were in this year, and the list below represents a few of my happiest days and nights.
